Persistence is key...

On the road to becoming a developer, there are many paths to take. The one I ended up on — I'll admit — was a privileged one.

I was fortunate enough to start working for a company that truly keeps its workers in mind. I developed my skills from the inside, building knowledge of both the business and its people from the very start. I began as a call centre advisor, supporting customers with broadband, TV, and PSTN (what we'd call landlines).

This company offers extensive development opportunities — but only for those who seek them and work for them. At first, the goal was simple: get off the phones and move into something more fulfilling.

Fast forward 8 years, and here I am:
a Software Engineer at that same company, chasing nothing but a dream I had in my head and a hobby I nurtured at home — "I wonder how this is done..."

This is the first of many blog entries I'll share as I build my website and document my journey.

Thanks for stopping by and being part of the ride.

From Call Centre Staff → to Low-Code Developer → to Full Stack React/Node.js Developer
— all thanks to my company's support and my relentless hard work.
